Focus on the basic skills needed to be successful in agility. Including those needed for future obstacle training, handling basics, the importance of rewards, basic markers and learning theory…in the simplest way possible!

young dog Skills & Drills (Full)

Taking the basic skills to the next level, learning to negotiate international sequences and courses. Individual obstacle training/troubleshooting will be covered.

We’ll focus on finding the best handling solutions for each sequence, and concentrate on handling or obstacle skills as required. Sequences can be modified to meet each team’s individual needs. Dogs need to be able to negotiate jumps and tunnels; weaves and contact obstacles may be used for more advanced teams.

Get ready for those international style courses and upcoming UKI/ISC events. Held outdoors on grass weather permitting…Bring your running shoes!! Dogs should be confident doing all obstacles, props are fine if needed.

Weave Pole seminar - Entries, Exits & Distance

We’ll troubleshoot any problems that teams may be having, including challenging entries & exits, how to add handler motion & distance and discriminations. We’ll also take a look at how best to introduce your young dogs to poles using guides.

Open to dogs of all levels, 12 months and older.
